Get Salty joins AKaKuRa House + Towels are Here!

Get Salty is excited to announce our new retail partner; AKaKuRa House. AKaKuRa House, located next to Hard Rock Cafe on Beach Walk Road in Waikiki, is the US flagship store for the Japanese luxury shoe retail chain AKaKuRa. AKaKuRa’s motto “beauty begins at the feet” is extending itself to encompass other accessories to create a whole look for shoppers. Get Salty’s hats, decals and koozies are all beautifully displayed among AKaKuRa House’s fabulous shoes and accessories.

Not only are we announcing a new retail location, but we are also announcing a new product: Get Salty microfiber towels! The microfiber towels are hand placed and printed in Hawaii and made in very small batches. They are lightweight, fold very small and dry quickly; similar to a camping towel! They are currently offered in 3 sizes; mini, standard and beach blanket. The mini size is perfect for stashing in the car, camping, wringing out hair at the beach or to use during workouts.  The standard size is great to use as a beach towel and is also the size of a standard yoga mat. The standard size can replace your yoga mat towel or be used in lieu of a mat when practicing in the park or on the beach on uneven terrain.  Our largest towel is a personal beach blanket size, which is great for extra cozy beach outings or for use as a small picnic blanket.
